Two sheperdesses with their flock, in a field, are having or believe they are having “arguments’’ with celestial elements. The Virgin who appears to them, a UFO sighting, or spying satellites constitute the perfect excuse to talk about the future of humanity, philosophy, evolution, feminism or the Cold War. But it is always about life, theirs, and their observing flock’s, and all from their own peculiar perspective.
The contrast between the earthly and the heavenly is the central thread of the performance.
BENDITAS is a frenzy between flees and miracles, which uses humour and closeness as key ingredients, and keeps a critical look on the role of women throughout History.
